Current Personnel: Tonia (tone-ya) Pinheiro leads the ensemble. She is a seasoned and inspired vocalist, facilitator, intuitive healer, and Ascension Path practitioner. Ukumbwa Sauti is an accomplished percussionist, pianist, vocalist and shamanic healer/seer who creates soul moving acoustic & electronic rhythms, and sound atmospheres. Mark Nathanson is a quiet, multi-talented, musician who produces evocative moods and rhythms with his guitar, string & percussion instruments, and voice. Mark joined East Coast Chant in July 2009.
Other Musicians: Joel Cohen is a world class cellist and founding member of 3 time Grammy-nominated Quartet San Francisco. Joel plays with us when he's on the East Coast. Paul Rodriguez is a warm talented guitarist who played with East Coast Chant during the 2008-2009 season.
